Leadership Development Programs

We love working in the space of leadership development.  We have conducted many client programs customised to capture their special needs.  We have also worked with business schools in running programs.  We have conducted high level programs for executive teams, middle management programs, frontline supervisor modules and team training.

Best practice leadership development programs are tied to the organisation’s strategic plan and its execution.  They should ideally be aimed at providing a return on investment which can be measured through a balanced scorecard consisting of non financial and financial metrics.  One of our clients measured employee engagement, turnover, sick leave, sales and productivity to assess managerial performance.

Typically our modules are about self, where we use Hogan Assessment profiling and 360 degree feedback to enhance self awareness, self management and relationship management skills.  Development planning and coaching is an important part of this module.  Secondly, we look at business excellence and typically concentrate on business planning and a high performing culture.  Some of our clients then like a module on customer-centricity, which is focused on delivering emotional value to customers as well as functional value.  It’s about customers for life.  Another popular module is our influencing and negotiations skills which are a critical part of relationship management, i.e. one’s ability to set agendas and influence outcomes.

We often like to get teams working on a project which will provide a return on investment.  These projects are often presented to the CEO and provide an opportunity to measure the talent of participating individuals.
