AHRI National Convention and Exhibition 2016

Brisbane, 3 to 5 August 2016 – PBC was a proud sponsor of the AHRI National Convention and Exhibition 2016. The AHRI National Convention and Exhibition is Australia’s flagship event for HR professionals and business leaders who are responsible for the people planning decisions in their organisation. The event attracts over 3000 attendees from around the country each year, inspired by local and global thought leaders on the big issues facing HR and business. One of the highlights was Hogan CEO Dr. Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic’s keynote on the future of talent identification. In this session, Tomas discussed recent innovations in the talent identification industry. In particular, how the digital revolution, big data, and social media are disrupting the traditional HR assessment space. The session examined the comparative accuracy, user-experience, and ethical implications of old and new tools, and what they mean for HR.
