Risk Type Compass Workshop

The Risk Type Compass workshop will equip participants with the tools and knowledge to:

• Appreciate the importance of risk in your organisation
• Understand how Risk Types apply to a variety of industries, professions and roles
• Deliver feedback to Risk Type Compass participants
• Implement enhancements to your organisation’s risk management strategy
• Interpret Risk Type Compass Group Reports and facilitate team workshops

The qualifying workshop is designed to enable practitioners to use the Risk Type Compass with confidence. During this one-day workshop, you will be taught by an experienced trainer and introduced to a wide range of possible applications of the RTC at individual, team and corporate level, as well as gaining an understanding of the origins, development, rationale and strategic relevance of the tool, which are significant in making sense of the confusion surrounding ‘propensity for risk’.

Taking a detailed look at each of the Risk Types, the trainer will guide delegates through case studies and interactive exercises to enhance their understanding of how individuals are likely to perceive, react to and manage risk, as well as the subsequent business implications.

Delegates will also conduct a practice feedback session with a course colleague, embedding their learning and providing the opportunity to apply their theoretical learning to practical outcomes.

Risk Type Compass WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY: If you cancel your Risk Type Compass Workshop registration, PBC will automatically transfer your registration to a future workshop date. We do not offer a refund of the workshop fee. In the event of a transfer received within 10 working days of the workshop, up to 10% of the workshop fee may be charged to cover catering, venue and administration costs.
